Special Note for Notebook and Tablet PC Use
The SpeedPilot MKVI uses the microprocessor clock to keep time. On some small devices (like small notebook PC's and tablet PC's), the microprocessor clock is slowed down when low demand tasks are running. When this happens, it also slows down the SpeedPilot MKVI clock. In order for the SpeedPilot MKVI to keep time accurately, the system on these devices must be configured to maintain maximum clock speed at all times. How and where this configuration is done depends on the device, but can usually be found in a power management setting for the system (consult the documentation for your device). To facilitate this adjustment (if required) we provide a clock program to monitor the accuracy of your clock. This program displays three different system time choices.
Once you have adjusted your system, you can use this program to verify that the clock is accurate. If only one or two of the clock choices is accurate, you can email us with that information, and we can configure your software to use the most accurate choice. You can download a copy of the clock tester application HERE

Special note for the Palm T3
If the button that switches your Palm T3 between portrait and landscape modes does not work
when you are running the demo you will need to install two additional files that Palm has produced.
They are sometimes needed for third party programs like SpeedPilot MKVI
that require high screen resolution in landscape mode. They are called the "T3 DIA Compatibility
PRC's". Do not install these PRC files onto any device other than a Palm Tungsten T3 under any
circumstances. These files are for the T3 ONLY. You must install both PRC's at the same time.
Installing them separately may force a hard reset of the PDA. You can download a copy of these
PRC's HERE
